Love Comes First Pet Sitting is owned and operated my Aimee Schroeder, a graduate from Ohio State University with a degree in Veterinary Technology. Aimee has been working as a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) since 1997. She is currently employed at a local veterinary clinic as the supervisor of technicians and is actively involved with the procedures and treatments performed there, as well as training and management of her team.

With the education and experience that Aimee has to offer, you can feel confident that you are relying on a skilled professional to care for your best furry friends, trained to know what is best for your pet, as well as how to handle any emergency that could arise. Aimee provides personal, individual attention that your pets would otherwise not recieve in a kennel.

Here are just a few of the advantages of in home pet sitting. Stress is greatly reduced because your pet is in his own safe and familiar environment. His/her diet and exercise routines are not changed, making your pet less stressed as well. If your pet is taking any medications, they are administered on shedule.Your pets are not exposed to illnesses and parasites from other animals. Your pets are not stressed from travel or boarding. Your pets do not need to be dropped off or picked up. They will remain happily at home awaiting your return.

Your home will have that 'lived in' look. By picking up the newspaper and bringing in the mail your home will not draw attention to the fact that you are away. Your houseplants will be watered and lights turned off and on to give you extra peace of mind - not only is your dear pet being looked after with love and care, but so is your home. And best of all - when you return home your pet is already there - happy to see you!

For our first time clients, an initial consultation visit is required (at no charge). During the consultation visit, we will have you take us through your pet's routine, fill out paperwork about your pet, services requested, veterinary information, and emergency contact information. We will also pick up a key to your home at this time, if needed. Please allow 30-45 minutes for this visit. This consultation and paperwork will need to be done only once. The paperwork will be kept on file so that future reservations will be just a phone call away.
